For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Serving is one of the great privileges of following Jesus. God has given each of us unique gifts and opportunities to use for his glory and the good of others.

When you join a ministry team, you become part of what God is doing through his church. It is an honor to serve the Lord, a joy to serve others, and a great way to build relationships while making a meaningful difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I start serving?
We ask that you attend White Fields regularly for at least six months before applying to serve. This gives you time to know that White Fields is your church home, become familiar with who we are and what we believe, and begin building relationships within the church. It also gives us the opportunity to get to know you.

After six months, you can fill out a ministry application and let us know which team you’re interested in. From there, a ministry leader will connect with you and help you take the next step toward serving.
How do I know which team is right for me?
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Take a look through the available teams and choose one that interests you. You can even “test drive” a ministry to see what serving is like and whether it’s a good fit. A ministry leader will be happy to answer your questions and help you find a place where you can serve well and enjoy being part of the team.
Do I need experience to serve?
Not usually. Many ministry teams provide training and will help you learn as you go.
How much time does serving require?
It depends on the ministry. Some teams serve weekly, while others serve once or twice a month or as needed.
What happens after I fill out the interest form?
A ministry leader will follow up with you to answer questions, explain next steps, and help you get connected.
